D800 f/1.4 Focusing Issues Fully Resolved!

Glad to hear you got your problems sorted out. I was equally surprised to see how much difference AF tuning made. With my D700 I never bothered with AF tuning, I did not have any focus issues with it. With the D800 I had to AF tune all my lenses. With that done my pics are nice and sharp.

I still use AF-C though because that's just the way I shoot and besides, I cannot stand bloody still enough
