how many $$$ have legacy lenses saved for you? and aren't they fun?

Personally, I pleased to use legacy lenses. And it really saves the money. I started to deal with it when bought E-PL1 with kit 14-42 (first version). Since this lens is a suck, I was extremely disappointed and started to look around for something better. First was Helios 44-3, than couple of Takumars, than Minoltas etc.. Now for me 50mm lens with f-number more than 1.4 is not attractive et all. I still think than modern lenses for mirroless cameras (50mm in particular) are overpriced with IQ slightly above average. And, from my point of view – overdesigned. Why 50mm prime should have 10 lenses in 9 groups (SEL-50F18) or 9 lenses in 8 groups (M. Zuiko 45mm f1.8)? Both have f1.8 ONLY!!!! Ridiculous… And old boring Planars (or its derivatives) still can do very good work:
