I don't buy that. Colors tend to be a subjective thing. More objective measurements show no more color shifts on Nikons than on other cameras.

It is clear to me that Nikon has a serious problem with the QC.
If it is clear to me that the 5D markIII gives me better IQ, AF, Colors, HIGH ISO, Radio Flashes etc, today for $ 800 more, I think, for FF beginners like me it is worth investing in Canon.

5D3 is a very good camera, but I doubt it'll beat a D600 or a D800 in all those departments.

Anyway, it's just a camera, try it and if you like it more than the D600, why not?

Yes. I won't give up from Nikon. I'll just buy a 5DmarkIII 24-105 f4 to make tests and compare for my own taste. That's saying about IQ, colors, ergonomics, features etc but about QC I'm sure Canon is better nowadays.
