That's what I was just thinking, making the image oversize with extra white around it to force the printer's adjustment to only crop off the "over scan".
 What would be nice to have is a table of pixel sizes at various DPI settings.
 For example, 600DPI is 2400x3600 to print a 4x6. How many extra pixels would be required to make the "image safe zone" (to use another TV video term) land exactly within the actual size of the paper?
