No. You can't half edit a raw file in one processing application and then continue with it in another. I use Capture NX 2 myself. When I'm finished processing the file, I save a version as TIFF so I can continue with that in Photoshop. But then it's no longer a raw file. If I want to process the raw file in Photoshop, I'm back to square one.

You might want to look at Aperture and Lightroom because they're more full-featured raw processors as well as photo management programs. They'll save you lots headaches at the expense of using whichever raw convertor you might want to choose. But if you've been using iPhoto, you'll find their raw conversion options pretty darn good.
