Differences between Panny Lumix DMC-FZ200 & FZ60 (& LX7)

Yes, I do a large amount of research - including all specs - when I compare cameras. However, I do realize that the FZ200 is a still camera with video capabilities and was not designed primarily for video. I also realize that HD video is only 2MP and thus dedicated camcorders typically make do with much smaller sensors.

My point was that one should not expect this class of camera to have all the video capabilities of a dedicated unit. If video is your primary concern, you should also consider the Sony HX200V - which many consider to be the best superzoom for video.
