How to take aquarium pics with D5100 (or similar camera)?

Tough shooting through glass, ESPECIALLY with flash.

One thing you can try is to get a circular polarizer filter.  If you get the right angle to the light, and spin it to the right spot, you can often eliminate almost all or all reflections from the glass (from ambient light, not from flash).
