Questions About SSD

Running Win7 64 bit on a Dell XPS 8300.  I have a 1.5 tb hard drive with 4 other partitions besides the c: drive.  I was planning on installing an SSD 64gb but before I do that I need some answers to some questions.  Please confirm if I am executing the proper steps.

a.  Install SSD in the proper bay and make the necessary connections. 
b.  Clean install Win 7 (downloaded from Dell site) utilizing the OEM product key.

Questions:
1.  Will the OEM procduct key work?
2.  If successful, will I still be able to access the old drive?  Copy to it or from it?
3.  Since the SSD will be the c: drive will I still be able to create a backup image using Acronis to the old drive (one of the partitions on the old drive is for drive images).
