Botanicals with a little something extra...

I re-visited my favorite orchid conservatory again today, and took along an off camera flash to play around with.  I use a RadioPopper JR setup that allows me to utilize my Nikon Speedlights.  All of these were done with one flash with a large softbox on it. NEX 6, and 55mm 3.5 and 105mm f/4 micro Nikkors. Flash was sometimes used for simple fill, and occasionally for a more dramatic effect.  Comments are welcome.



This was not shot with flash, but I liked them enough to include anyway.  Kit lens 16-50mm.
