Because of the 2X focal length modifier, legacy lenses are all telephoto lenses, so the only use for them that makes any sense is cheap portrait lenses.

Now, if you already own the M.Zuiko 45mm f/1.8, what benefit is there to using a legacy lens? Does anyone have an example of a portrait that was taken with the m.zuiko 45mm, and then taken with a legacy lens, showing that the portrait with the legacy lens is better?

Can the 45mm 1.8 even grab focus with a shot like this? It was so dark that this was a 50 second exposure. This kind of shot is WAY easier with a manual focus lens, especially when you can use f/1.4 to focus. In fact, any kind of manual focus shot is a genuine pain-in-the-butt with autofocus lenses.

And of course, there are no native 400mm lenses:

people who suffer from Manual Focus Deficit Syndrom (MFDS) can not be reasoned with until they go through Legacy Lens Aversion Therapy (LLAV) at the Tedolph Institute for Maual Focus Studies.

Right now the program is oversubscibed and we hope to be admitting new patients as soon as we enlarge our staff and expand our facilties.
