Hi! Any suggestions for compact hardware to pull individual image files off our home server by WiFi and display them in a nice, high-quality slide show (with pan & zoom, cross fade, etc.) at 1080p on the TV? Our Sony PlayStation PS3 can do all of this pretty well, except connect to the network by WiFi. Thanks for your consideration! -Eric
I'm confused. The PS3 has WiFi, doesn't it?
Anyway, if you're into a bit of tinkering and Android, this might be decent for your needs:

Its an Android PC on a stick, with HDMI out. Add your choice of interfacing with it. (Keyboard, Remote, etc), connect it to WiFi, and find an application that can connect to your PC and load images. (Maybe try XBMC).
Overall, the software you'll find will be slightly immature for TV navigation, most of the "ease of use" comes from the remote you'll choose for the device.
