A99 Remote Camera Control

I am hoping that some one can help, I have just installed the Remote Camera Control software from the supplied disk, and keep getting the message the the camera cannot be detected. I have tried all manner of settings on the camera but to no avail, -help!! The HDMI cable works running the camera through aa Bravia tv.
