Google translates it as "drifting ice". I do not know if it is correct, Google, and others translaters, can be quite blunt.
Anyway, the place is Marken. We have had a wonderful period of snow. Yesterday temperatures went above zero and sometimes at a couple of places the ice drifts against the shore and you get ice-dunes. Yesterday evening they were 2 meter high, today 8 meter.
