I'm finding that for weddings i prefer to have the 24-70 range for ceremony, preparation and reception, and the 50L and 135 for the formal portraits - i do carry the 135 for ceremony but think a 70-200 f4 is on the cards sometime soon.

i could shoot a whole wedding on the 24-70 an i have a feeling i'd be the only one to notice, but the primes lend themselves to more staged shots and the zoom allows you to work faster.
