No infrared index!

I especially like the 'There is no depth-of-field scale, distance scale or infrared index.' This would seem to apply to my Olympus 40-150,45 and 14-42 mm lenses. The 45 mm lenses is considered to be a good lens but by Ryan's law as you can buy it for £219 and lacks these vital details it must be rubbish.

It is a great pity that there is this looking down on these affordable lenses especially when nonsense like 'no infrared index' has to be resorted to by snooty DSLR owners to diss them.

Seriously, when a reviewer complains that a Micro Four Thirds lens is lacking an infrared index, the defect is in the reviewer, not the lens.
