K-01 LCD Display

Perhaps I'm the only owner of the K-01 who still doesn't like it. Under the bright Australian sun I can barely  see the image on the LCD to compose a photo. Maybe it's my eyesight but I'm wondering if others also have this problem. I changed the brightness settings this afternoon but it hasn't really made much of a difference to my problem.

I want to like this camera; I'm used to its brick-like shape now but I think it was a mistake for me to buy a camera without a viewfinder. Maybe at the age of 74 I am too old to adjust
