I have the ZM 50/2 and the ZM 35/2.8. I think you would be happy with the rendering and sharpness of the 35/2.8 on the 5N - it's very sharp wide open.
If 2.8 is too slow for you, you should consider the CV 35/1.2. It's very useable at 1.2 and plenty sharp by the time you stop down to 2.0. It's a little less contrasty than the ZM 35/2.8, but you can fix that pretty easily in PP.
I also have the 35/1.8 oss, which is a very good lens, but I think not quite as sharp as the ZM35/2.8 or CV 35/1.2. I would be surprised if you found it to be not sharp enough, but if you're comparing it to the ZM 50/2, you might be happier with the contrast and edge to edge sharpness of the ZM 35/2.8.
I have never used the ZM 35/2. My understanding is that it is not as sharp edge to edge as the ZM 35/2.8, but if you're trying to decide between those two lenses, you should do some searches specifically comparing those lenses.
As I said, I have no problems with the sharpness of the 35/1.8 oss. Here's a couple photos I took using that lens:
