70-200mm VR I - Live view vs View finder

Hi,

I have 70-200mm VR version I, purchased used. Today I took it out and used on D600 to see how AF fine tune is with this combination. I was on tripod, VR off using timer and distance was beyond 2.5m (which I noticed on distance scale of the lens). Using center focus point and view finder from 70mm to 135mm pictures were fine. But at 200mm image came out kind of hand-shakey though on Tripod with VR off and timer on. On the other hand when I took a picture using live view it came out very sharp.
