Picture this.....Have you been here?

What's interesting to me, personally, is that I was musing earlier, and before I saw this thread, about why people have to get so snippy on internet forums. (snark, snark, snark, snark - think of the seagulls in Finding Nemo) This is the point of the OP's post, I believe, unless I've missed some forest or other for a collection of trees.

Of course, I realize that I have probably been at least a tiny bit guilty of this myself on an occasion or two, but I still maintain that a bit more civility would be a welcome change. It makes me consider changing my signature from just my name to one of my favorite but often ridiculed quotes from an unexpected source. It's beautiful in its simplicity, I've always thought.
