Why is the Aperture Fading into Irrelevance thread locked? Question for moderator. Locked

Well, you might have something. In this day and age you HAVE to keep up. I got screwed ROYAL when they dropped WEB ME. Everything there, but I cannot get it out. Don't know what this CLOUD stuff is all abbout, I don't want all this on my phone, or anywhere else except where I put it. Yeah, I am challenged somewhat . I used LR until they couldn't open my D700 RAW files, and lost a bunch of stuff  when I went with Aperture. Still hoping they will upgrade .
