3:2 and 4:3 equivalent how?

I don't understand the technical side of all this, but the Tiff file is 45.6 MB.  And yes, the JPG is indeed straight out of the camera.

But it makes sense, since the pixel size is unchanged even though the angle of view is reduced.

Not that it matters to me, the reduction is small and I don't worry about it in the least.  I was just slightly interested to see the difference.

Incidentally, I mostly use the 3:2 format because I prefer it, and don't worry about the 11% pixel loss.
