14-24 vs 16-35

Hi, I had both lens for a while and kept the 14-24 mainly because of the distortion issue with the 16 - 35 and I felt the 14 - 24 was a tad sharper. As you are looking to do Architectural work I would lean towards the 14-24, you are less likely to use filters and at the wide end it is superb. This is a very specialist lens and you will either just love it or hate it. I use it with a D3S.
I spent ages deciding but pleased I stuck with the 14 - 24 - just my thoughts.

ther 16-35 has horrid BD at 16-24, so bad it ruins the image to fix it
