Here are comparisons of jpeg and Capture 1 versions of the same image. The extra width of the Capture 1 is clear. I was just messing about with Capture 1 but decided not to bother.

Capture 1 first, jpeg second.

I opened the ORF in a trial copy of (I think) Capture 1 and found wide angle images were wider than jpegs (as well as distorted).

Whether this is because the jpegs are narrower than the specified FL or because the uncorrected ORF is wider I can't say, I assumed the former. Certainly the wider angle image was closer to the equivalent Nikon FF width at the equivalent FL but, as I remember, still not quite the same.

If I have an idle 10 minutes I'll look for the images and check.
