Panasonic HC-X900

I bought the Panasonic HC-X900 with the intentions of getting a newer computer but that will not happen soon so my question is

I have Win XP and its old and would it be able to handle movie clips, no editing just playing and writing to DVDs

Is there some unit that I can buy that would play these clips similar to a picture frame that plays photos but not a full fledged computer
