Thanks for your info, and for providing a link to an aftermarket grip for the A57. I noticed, however, that the description states the battery compartment door must be removed to accommodate this grip. As it appears to me that the A57 door is not removable, I'm curious to know if anyone is currently using one of these grips, and if so, what (if any) modifications might be required with the camera?
I would love to see a photo of this grip (or a similar one) attached to an A57, before I shell out any money for one. The cables don't bother me so much, but I'd like someone to verify that the grip is indeed a good match (proper fit) for the camera.
