Instructions for adding MagFilter system to RX100

I purchased the MagFilter 55mm threaded adapter for my RX100. However, I received no instructions for how to apply the magnetic ring to the camera.
I assumed there were be some tool available to help you center the ring on the lens, but I received no such tool and no such instructions on what to do.
I'd rather not slap it on there like some eager caveman. Help?
