Nikons series 1 biggest problem is marketing.. !

The V1 and the v2 cameras are just as fast as a D4......(know from owning and using them professionally)

Af is blindingly fast and contiuous shooting is very very fast....

Apart from the preview feature that blocks the camera sometimes in the V1

(in the V2 its optional) the camera actually only lacks a few very fast lenses...

and those dont come fast enough because Nikon doesnt think they are important enough to have priority..

apart from that I think that Nikon is deliberatly not putting more force into the S1 to

preserve the F mount market ....bottom line (crippeled because of D3200-5200).....

Those of us who already use the 18.5 lens know of the potential in that system and also those

that use the ft-1 with fast and long lenses....

This system is much faster then any of the rivaling DX and MFT based systems....

shot to shot time is incredible....

Nikon bring out some of those fast lenses as soon as possible !!!!
