Shoot video with the 17-40 on the 5d mk2??

I don't usually use that lens on my 5DII for two reasons: 1) no IS so video is only as stable as your handholding/tripod allows, and 2) with wide angle lenses moire and aliasing becomes more noticeable and pronounced. My 24-105 IS is usually a much better choice. I have used my 28 1.8 and 50 1.4 for video when I want really shallow DOF, but my ability to handhold steady isn't so good so I usually don't.
