FZ200 problem or normal?
Jan 25, 2013

I have had my FZ200 for about 3 months now - think it is a fantastic camera. Today it was snowing and -9C degrees outside and just beautiful so took camera and dog for a walk. After walking for about 20 minutes decided to take a photo and turned camera on - the EVF started with a very blue tint and within 1-2 seconds showed scene as normal. I brought camera home, waited for a while to endure no condensation and with my eye at the EVF turned on camera and EVF had a very orange tint to it for a few seconds then back to normal. BTW the tint appears in the EVF and the LCD. Just wondering if this is normal for the camera as it is set to auto WB and maybe it is calculating wb. Never noticed it before but usually I turn the camera on and then place it to my eye so probably wouldn't notice a 1-2 second tint.
