I'm confident Panasonic will have tremendous success with the GH3. It was just recently released and they can't keep them in stock. It's a bit larger than the OM-D EM-5 but it handles better in my opinion due to the larger hand grip. Yes some might complain that it's larger size defeats the purpose of the Micro Four Thirds category of cameras but not really. Even if the body is a bit larger, the lenses are still substantially smaller than the traditional DSLR's. Take a look at the image below to see what I mean. On the right is me shooting the GH3 with a 100-300mm F/4-5.6 lens. To my left is a guest of ours in Kenya that is shooting a 6oomm F/4. If you're interested you can read about these differences on my Daniel J. Cox/Natural Exposures Blog.

is comparing a bloated monstrosity to a hedious abomination!

Really, in the days of the Pentax Spotmatic, there was nothing like the abominatin you see on the left.

This is modern perversion of what a camera should be.

Ask the Leica shooters.

How many Leica nature photographers do you know?

I have a nature photography book in my library written by a guy who shot nothing but Leica M's with a Visoflex housing for long lenses!

Well there's one!
