Primes vs. Standard Zoom

Just ordered the new 6D as substitution for my 550D. I also bought a used 28-135 on ebay for very small money. Sure, this lens is not a great performer when it comes to build quality and haptic. Optical performance seems to be fine.

I will start with the Sigma 35 1.4 as next prime, replace my Canon 50 1.8 when a new generation 50 1.x IS will be released an add another ultra wide angle lens. I think together with the 100 2.8 IS L and the 70-200 4.0 IS L this will be a great set.

If prices for the new Sigma 120-300 will drop, this could also be a very tempting option for a good tele.
