RX100 New Owner Question

I shoot RAW plus jpeg, that way I have the quick use of jpeg for web posts & emails, but an extract the maximum from the RAW files if I want to print an image.  Memory is cheap and you can't recovery quality that has been thrown away.  But to each his own, as they say.
