Tokina 17-35 anyone got one

A friend lent me a Tokina 16-28 which I think is definitely excellent for the price and am considering buying one myself. I'd definitely rate it better than Canon's 17-40. I have a Full Frame (6D). However I guess I should at least look at Tokina's 17-35 lens too. However I can't find many reviews or user comments. The reviews I did find mostly talk about geometry aspects of this lens.
Has anyone any experience with the Tokina 17-35 on a Full Frame Canon or Nikon?
