If you mean Apple, then from whence did you get this fiction from ?

From Wikipedia :

The first recorded attempt at building a digital camera was in 1975 by Steven Sasson, an engineer at Eastman Kodak

Kodak invented the digital camera correct, but you should note that Apple had a shipping consumer camera before Kodak (made with Kodak help)

Here is a review of the first shipping digital consumer camera (n.b Canon Ion and Sony Mavica aren't strictly digital cameras)
