Trying to Choose New Camera and Lenses: Sony NEX vs Olympus OM-D

I don't see how you can go far wrong with either. Like with most cameras today the biggest limitation to all of them is the person behind it. I'd base my decision on the lenses you'd like to use, the features it offers and ergonomics rather than IQ.

I'm looking to upgrade my camera soon, I have a GX1 and I will buy a panasonic G5. The reason is I want a EVF and an articulating screen. Plus I've held the G5 in a store and it feels very comfortable in my hand. Fortunately for me photography is just a hobby, so I don't need the absolute best in IQ and the G5 is most definitely good enough. All I need to do now is improve my skills, so that hopefully one day I can take a picture like the top one in the link below.
