How is my copy of the 45mm 1.8?

The shot you've posted has very limited depth of field (since it's up close), so you can only really judge sharpness at the point of focus, which in this case seems to be the neck and cleavage of the statue, and independently midway down the hair.

It's also hard to judge sharpness given the low quality of the JPEG compression; there are obvious compression artifacts throughout the frame. But it seems to be sharp.
