The 75mm

I own the 25mm & 45mm & have the 12mm on my wish list.

The 45mm is probably the lowest build quality of these four but it is an absolute gem. Its great for portraits and people pictures and quite useful for general photography. The 25f1.4 is a normal lens and indispensable for me. The fast aperture allows shooting without flash in quite dim lighting. The 12mm is on my wish list for scenics, interiors and for situation where the massive dof allows you to set focus to manual and not have to worry about AF.

So that leaves the 75mm out in the cold. I like long lenses but this is not all that long. If I had one I would have to work out what kind of pictures it works well for. From what I have read about it it is a really good lens, but I don't have any identified need for it.

John

This would be my line of reasoning as well. As good as the 75mm is, I don't shoot that focal length as much as much.

I would also try to trade the 12mm to a wide angle zoom--for wide angle, I prefer the extra width and flexibility of either available zoom to the wider aperture of the prime.
