New DA 35 2.4 looks good

I've had this lens for well over a year now and must say that it was on my K-x before and now my K-30 the most. It is a fantastic walk around lens since it is so small and you are correct, though 2.4 can be a tad soft if you pixel peep, by 2.8 you are much sharper. This was my first prime and I am thinking that my next purchase might be the 50mm 1.8 big brother to this one.
