I'll always have a go..
Crossing a footbridge tonight with my 1Dsiii and a Sigma 300 F2.8 on a monopod, having been photographing track runners, the light was, well not there and I saw Cork's County Hall with some windows lit. Sez I to me, could I get a shot of that in this light?
I leant the monopod against the railings of the bridge, steadied myself and took about 6 shots. Two were ok.
1/50 sec F2.8 at 3200 iso.
Well, the next time I'll bring a tripod, but you never know what's possible unless you try it.
