Why is the EM5 so much more popular than the GH3?

i.e. not enough time  to develop a hype. And tradition is rarely hyped.

Ask again in 6 months when the reviews are out and more GH3 owners have opened threads here. Things will look more balanced in the future.

Imo mFT users now have the choice between two very good cameras with different design and different feature sets. The GH3 is a bit more traditional with good ergonomics and much better for video, the E-M5 is special because of its retromdesign and because it was the first mFT cam that was not only judged (or ignored) due to sensor size  by review sites.
