Simply put, unless you have contacted the vendor and stated your case and been "blown off", posts of this nature on open forums are offensive to fair minded people.

I am not saying you don't have a case, but the preferred procedure would be to contact the vendor's customer service department, state your case and give them to chance to rectify the situation.

I too am a frequent buyer from B&H, but not enough that they would notice. I am sure that if your complaint had substance they would very quickly rectify the matter given the opportunity.

The fact that I am the fifth person to respond to your post saying give B&H the chance to make this right indicates the fine reputation this company enjoys in the photographic community.

They are not perfect but, from what I have witnessed, are open and honest in their dealings, and will go to great lengths to rectify their mistakes.

Having posted your one sided rant, it would be the honourable thing to post the reply from B&H customer service on this matter.
