Please don't shoot me, but do you remember?

Mine ended up being silver too. (That was the original preorder, but before it came through a store had a black one that I had decided to buy instead, but before I had the chance it was already sold).

I'm unsure how different the silver and black treatments are, but my silver looks quite reasonable. It looks a bit more lived-in than when I got it, but no issues with the finish chipping off or being worn away that I've noticed.
