I too was impressed with the amount of magnification the A12 50mm achieved. Good stuff! I've been using it as my flat art copy camera for a while, it does a grand job of it. Good lens and easy to work with camera. Only negative is that you have to take it off the stand to change battery or card, so use a full battery and a cable connection to get the most out of a session without having to re-set up too often.
