T. Hogan on D800 QC issue

Not all of us were able to wait - my camera died and I didn't want to spend 3/4 of the D800 money on a D700 (nothing much wrong with the D700 but you get my drift)

However I echo your sentiment 100% - additionally Nikon had very real problems meeting demand of angry consumers who had waited long enough, and also had earthquakes and floods to contend with

But consumers wanted their new models urgently, they didn't want to wait and complained about slow supply and now complain that  some of them have QC issues

First world problems eh
