nex-7 or nex-6 which is ultimately better?

but the camera records in stereo sounds, what will the mic jack add? a more polished sound...it will probably be something i won't use and i will invest in a lens

yes i did some research. i made a change from a canon 650d...the reason i got the nex-7 with kit lensbecause it would have cost me the same as a nex-6 with the zoom lens. i assumed 7 would be better, but its probably going to be updated soon...

ive had a deeper look around the net and i can probably get the 6 and save about £80.00 and if its giving me same pictures and videos, doesn't it make sense opting for that and also the zoom lens is more compact..

i just wanted to know your thoughts? i will be taking pictures. i wanted good bokeh etc, mainly taking pics of baby, family, holiday snaps and short hd videos.
