Great Blue Herons in winter with D800 + 300 f/2.8 VR II + TC20-E III

Sorry, not trying to hijack.  Just trying to show that the VR on the lens is good and trying to convince you to give VR on a loose Gimbal a try.   Of course everyone develops there favorite style and settings.

Going slower will save on the ISO.  The top shooters blow me away but I have a lot of fun!
