Now, what am I doing right?????? I am not Pollyanna. I am terribly pragmatic - very picky. Just luck? Do I represent the majority? Or the lucky few? Or is this the pi$$ and moan forum? I REALLY don't think so!

P7700..NO problems

D800 #1...No initial problems, very mild left AF issue, requires AF tuning on all lenses, occasional focus errors.

D800 #2...Horrendous left AF issue, required heavy AF tuning and I could not adjust camera for some lenses. Camera returned for refund.

Please see Thom Hogan's new comments on the D800 AF issues and the large amount of people who are actually having problems.

There's not much anyone can say except for the usual "My camera is perfect! So yours is too!"

The only people I know with "perfect" D800s are the people online.
