D4 Confusion - help required please

Dave, sorry I do not shoot either the D4 or D800 but I do shoot the D3S,D700 and D300s. What is your primary purpose for up-grading the D700? More MP, more DR, better Vid ( wink ) ?

If you are not shooting fast action or very low light the D4 , for what you shoot, may not be as suitable as a D800 or D800E. (particularly for the money).

Since you like the build of the D4 (and I agree) either of those is probably better than a D600.
