China vs. Japan

Hi John,

I have the 25mm f2.8 pancake and it's also made in China, I think they all are, nevertheless I think it's actually quite a good lens and use it on my E30 & my E-P3 with an adapter.  I did consider buying the P/L 25mm f1.4 for the E-P3 but I find the Oly pancake fine (very sharp) for my needs and I don't require f1.4.

Whilst I have had doubts about Chinese manufactured optics in the past I think things have improved markedly in the last 5 years, as evidenced by my recent purchase of the u4/3 60mm macro which can only be described as oustanding.
