I MUST be doing something wrong

Well Steve... I'd say you've had a good run!

I went through the D100, D2X, D80, D200, D300, and D600. No problems for me, except I DID have a severe banding issue with the D200 so I returned it. And my D600 does get those lube spots, but I wet clean every now and then and I'm still a happy owner. So my luck's been pretty good too.
